And I don't think that we need the 3% extra bit for the independent power suppliers - if it is such a good business let them set it up themselves without asking me to subsidise it.

That's exactly what happens when you let brainless people make the important decisions.

Anyone seen the new show Revolution? I think we headed that way, the way we being squeezed

How long until the common man can sell solar power to the municipality?

These brainless leaders will make sure that solar power remain on par with electricity "costs" just like Sasol, paraffin, gas, etc.

I'm not particularly worried about that. I'm just wondering when the end user will be enabled to sell back electricity.

Unavoidable is untrue, just open up the market to other players and Eskom's ineptness will be taking care of in a short space of time, with much more competitive pricing for the consumer, be sure of that.

Gigaba said the poor needed to continue to be shielded.

Keep it up fckers. Soon everyone will be poor. The middle class will slowly be reduced to people that can only cover their expenses and have little to no disposable income left.

Everything that enrich the ANC is apparently unavoidable.
We don’t believe you. Try a different BS story idiot.

This is the exact thing that will happen with Etolls. All the ANC brudders fought for increases telling the normal man on street that we have to have these increases because we have been paying to little for years.
Now the way is paved for them to keep on increasing the price.
