"Contamination incident" at Eskom power station caused all-day Stage 4 load-shedding

Eskom says a "contamination incident" that occurred at the Kendal power station on the evening of Wednesday, 21 February 2024, is to blame for the all-day Stage 4 load-shedding currently in effect.

The power utility was forced to implement Stage 4 load-shedding until further notice at 04:00 on Thursday, 22 February, after five generating units at Kendal power station and one at Duvha power station went offline.

Does the name of the contaminant start with an A and end in a C?
