State energy supplier, Eskom has reported a big decline in profit for the year ended March 2013, to R5.18 billion, from R13.25 billion in 2012.

Legally cooking the books - accountants shift things around to show higher / lower profits depending on 'strategic' input.

Believe me - ask the accountants here.

Maybe I'm exaggerating somewhat in this case, but you can bet they've shifted items (perfectly legally) around to paint the picture they want painted.
