Eskom shares load-shedding weekend schedule

Eskom says it will have to continue implementing load-shedding over the weekend as it continues to suffer significant generation losses due to a strike by many of its plant workers.

Eskom chief executive officer André De Ruyter said that the utility had around 13,609MW of unplanned capacity losses and a further 3,104MW unavailable due to planned maintenance.

"Eskom shares load shedding schedule"

How sweet and thoughful of them...always putting the customer first...

You're a fool if you think they'll stick to that schedule.

Durban has no loadshedding, but there's is water rationing which is a great inconvenience as the water goes off at 3pm and returns at 6am next day.

But at least we have the Durban July tomorrow, I'm hoping to win enough to get a Jojo tank and pump installed .... Maybe I should back the horse called Sparkling Water

Just don't go with any horse with 'Electric' in it's name, it will be found dead in the starting gates the following week.

The way this country is going, you would probably be better off buying the horse. It doesn't need insanely expensive petrol or electricity to run the water pump. Can also use it draw the wagon with your haul of firewood to cook over and keep you warm.
