Eskom system status update - 17 November 2021

2400MW better then yesterday, so that is a bit of a breather, though it's a tight freaking edge we walk. Listening to the briefing it's like wtf man, but my feed just dropped off :-(

Why would there be load shedding from 2pm if it's 2400MW better then yesterday and we scrapped through yesterday. If he said it was 2000 over then sure.

News just in: Eskom warns of loadshedding for rest of year
 
Eskom intern training now open. Exciting opportunities to learn about:
- Watching flashing lights
- Wet coal
- Blowing up turbines to Kingdom come.
- Overpaying for coal (advanced)
- Cooking the power statistics to look good
- Finding conveniently located shebeens (intermediate)
- Hiring your non-qualifying family members to positions.
- Stealing power station parts

Once your internship is complete you receive a BS certificate and can use the title Cadre.
