Stabilising Eskom's finances is a priority and the power utility will be given R23 billion to do so, President Jacob Zuma announced on Thursday.

Income tax payers are already tight and unless Zuma wants to be the last ANC president I doubt he will be increasing VAT. Maybe they sell off & pull out of Telecoms? but after decades of control will they?
