Eskom wage bill shock

Energy expert Chris Yelland has warned Eskom about its "notably high" wage bill, claiming that the energy regulator's 40,000 employees earned an average of about R600,000.

But seriously, why do you say this? (not being argumentative)
We don't have much of a choice when getting and paying for electricity apart from going electricity free, but to do that there is a huge capital cost to be Eskom-free at your home.
