Eskom will implement continuous Stage 6 load-shedding this weekend

Since it was sunny last few days I set up batteries to only top up if they go below 50%.
Geyser depleted them a bit this mooring and by the time it was my turn to shower after 10:00 temperature was only 32 degrees.
Misty day, no sun and load shedding from 10:00 to 14:30 (long slot).

Started geyser, set up the temperature to 40 degrees, battery went to 36% but I had warm shower.
Luckily sun is picking up.
Got bit caught with this long slot so washing and dish washer will have to be started later on.

This feels more like level 8 loadshedding than 6. Even the apps can't keep up.

Capey.

What it feels like and what it is are different things also apps seem fine

Was waiting over an hour at a restaurant for a meal due to loadshedding and they couldn't use all their appliances. Big groups of people left.

We ended up getting a free side order and a slice of cake.

This hurts businesses more than this incompetent and corrupt government would ever care about.

What meal did you order that could not be prepared on gas?

Today was cloudy and windy, and it just started raining. We start at a disadvantage in winter...
It was cloudy here as well, which is unusual for us. Our summer is cloudy and rainy with sometimes almost 2 weeks of just clouds
