Don't think this item is meant to be R149.00 as advertised....Maybe R1490.00? I mean it's a 24 port hub for R149.00 from Asus? Would esquire even honor this if i went to purchase it as an item? If it is incorrectly priced then someone in marketing is going to get screwed lol.

well i have no idea why it says 699 on their webpage and 149 on their special?

Just thought I would give them a heads up.

You’re a good person.
Most people have on the consumer hat but when you have the seller hat on, you start to realise with time how many customers is out there trying to screw you over.

One of my customers cried "CPA CPA" because I changed the pricing co-incidentally while he was surfing products. He did not even order something yet.
Had to explain to him pricing change frequently and price update take place almost daily.

Many people don't know that the CPA takes into account.
There is a fine line but there is.
If for instance I advertise a special with untrue bait pricing "until it sells out" and this was not true this is wrong.
But if I made a mistake say put R99 instead of R999 this is an error and CPA is not blind to human error.
And you won't believe how many people would try to do you in instead of making you aware of the error or just plain understanding when you tell them there is an error.
The other day for some reason, when updating, I made such a mistake. Or system error occurred. 5 or so high priced items listed at a zero price.
After this, a guy ordered it without notifying me or to inquire as to the correct pricing. I notified him of the error and he started being a dick saying he want it for free.."CPA..CPA" Wonder if he any clue about the CPA at all.

Put a person in a situation when he deals with customer support or a company representative is one of the quickest ways to determine whether someone is a decent person.
The same as putting someone behind a steering wheel or putting him in a position of authority.

PS..I am not affiliated to Esquire. Just another anonymous dealer who want to share my experience.

Lol, thanks. Yeah i don't need 1. Maybe put some cross checks in place to ensure this mistake doesn't happen again. However on that price list is a router I have been keen on getting for a long time now.....the wireless asus router for R1199. Looks dam sexy and does everything I want it to do. Would be awesome to get it for my first place I have bought.
