Well, well, well.

Just when I thought businesses would do their best to get your business and keep you as a client I was wrong:(

I'm registered with Esquire as I have a small busniess supplying hardware and services to the SOHO end of the IT market.

My story goes like this, I asked one of the Esquire sales people if they had i7's instock yet to which he replied they had just arrived and were being checked in. When I emailed and asked for a price there was no response, I emailed again twice if I remember correctly with no response. I even called and asked for a price and was given a rediculous ammount to which I said was probably wrong. The sales person I spoke to said they would double check and get back to me. They never did. I then sent an email to [email protected] and the sales person complaining about the shocking service which was also never replied to.

The only time I will ever buy anything from Esquire again is if the special is just to good to pass up. I will never request anything service related.

Just so you know, another company got my 10 x i7 build for a small development/design company I now service.

I wasn't even going to bother posting but I couldn't help myself.

Shocked is all I can say.

PS, apart from most of their brands looking like they were made by Fischer price and the fact they get technology so much later than anyone else (they only started stocking the very popular 2333SW from Samsung and the i7 in the last 4 weeks) their service is also kuk. Just for fun I walked into one of their stores this morning looking for a mouse, they didn't have one small laptop mouse in stock at all.

Wow that's pretty bad - the Esquire rep here will probably want to jump in and straighten things out.

Communication is king.

I learnt a while back not to rely on emailing them. :o

Sometimes the replies are fast though.

In all honesty esquire do not strike me as the kind of comany you would ask to build 10 i7 systems.

Do they stock asus or gigabyte? What mobo's do they carry?

No i know you build them but what i mean is i generally i like buying the cpu, mobo, memory etc from one place provided the price is fine, it is annoying to have to go too 2/3 different places to save 40 bucks :D and esquire for me are not known for high end cpu and mobo's.

Aha, I agree.

so u didnt really need a mouse you just did it for the lulz? :D

Pretty crappy from Esquire - I must say their stuff doesn't rock my world at all....Mostly stuff I have never heard of and probably would never trust. I have always said it seems like a load of cheap crap to me. I may be wrong.

Once made the mistake to buy one of their MP4 players.

Battery doesn't even last for 1 hour. Sound is crappy and user interface is useless.

hahahaha! yea, never buy that kinda stuff there! i try not to buy anything at esquire. Their quality is not good... I dont think anyone should by anything there that is not name brand such as Intel, Amd, ect... got a no name motherboard there... biggest waist of money ever.

Guys come on. You get what you pay for. Esquire's prices are generally good even on the branded things. Just go for those and skip out on the crappy no name brands.

+1. Pretty much stick to the name brand stuff which IMO is why they should stock more recognised NAME BRAND products like Asus MB's etc etc and I think that will improve sales greatly :D *HINT*

I tried to give them some of my business... I said tried.

You can only try so hard

I got a keyboard from them the other day, one with the WASD keys in red.

Suffice to say, it worked for 2 days and died.
I'm not even going to BOTHER taking it back, I just went and bought another cheapo from Rectron.

 Since when do you buy cheapies..?

I gave up buying there ages ago. The service was shocking when i had to return anything and the fact they charge you a 5% fee (or 2.5%) if you dare use your credit card is both illegal and immoral. Hell they even charged me a cash handing fee when i paid cash instead

All i will ever buy from them are screen cards as these are pretty cheap in comparison.

I stick with either Pinnacle or Rectron..
