So I impulse bought a motherboard which I have a love hate relationship with. In the midst of the madness I failed to notice it didn't have a backplate.

It was a refurb from one of the etailers active on this site and was sold voetstoets so no harm no foul. However when I tried to then buy the backplate the retailer was unable to source it; the supplier Axiz simply refused (?) and Asus ZA said no matter how much I offered I could only get one from them if it had accidently been left out of the original box and since they need the serial number and know its a refurb i was basically SOL. More infuriatingly Asus have a large international website specifically for selling these products directly to the American public yet we get screwed down here.

Fortunately all this was happening in the same week that Esquire started selling Asus motherboards :)

One PM later and two weeks for shipping I am now the owner of exactly the backplate I had been craving. Not only did Esquire immediately organise what I needed but they didn't even charge in the end :D

What a fantastic bloody service. I know this sounds a bit like a lose-weight-now-ask-me-how pitch but its really just a thank you and a word of advice to anyone else looking for unbelievable service and a very nice price. Thanks Mahomed!

I actually cannot take the credit for this one , Vickesh Hurrienarain our Warranty Manager was instrumental in organizing the back plate from Asus , and kept on nagging them for it , but I am glad that you finally got it ,

+1 gr8 service

I’ve been supporting Esquire for many years now since I was in JHB and always got gr8 service from them the express store in Milnerton has been the best thing esquire did for us down here,-Well done Esquire!;)

Good on esquire for this one :) ... I'm really sorry about not being able to get the backplate ... Axiz refuses and Asus says there is nothing they can do, I should call axiz :mad:

On the plus side, your board is not 100% voetstoets ... should still have the balance of its warranty with Asus.
