Hi All

This is a final remainder that we doing the craziest pricing on our Decade of Distribution celebration happening in Midrand on 16th June 2009-doors open at 9am until 2:30PM.

Join us for a wors rolls and snacks and bring the kidz as we planned lots of activities for them , such go –karting , magic show, face painting , Jumping castles.

Just as an update we added more items to the special list such as Media and Networking products and more will be added on Saturday , and on Monday on items such graphics cards, Flash Drives and gaming stuff.

Today we just got in 1000 x 1TB hdd and will be selling them at a price you will not believe-so be sure to click on the link now to get that price.

We already had over 100 calls today for pre-bookings on the BenQ 42” and 47” Full HD LCD TV and refused as this will be unfair to those clients that will be waiting in line to get one.

How good is the BenQ LCD TV's?
I am not expecting Sony Bravia quality but is it still any good?
Contrast ratio of 1200:1 is pretty low

The Specials have been updated and we just added the Divoom speaker range, BenQ Notebooks , Netbooks , Motherboards and Processors to the list

i've been to one of these birthday things before, ppl q like from early in the morning, theres fighting and shoving and fists, its going to be ugly and you might still come away with nothing except an adrenalin rush. I would love a drive for those prices, but is fighting the human carnage worth it?

Hi dudleygb

I agree with you that the place becomes insane as everyone trying to grab a bargain I personally had to intervene last year with two resellers fighting over the Hard drives enclosures and had to calm the situation down by asking the reseller that took all to at least share some with the other guy-which he did.

for your info last year we had over 1000 people in and around the Xpress store some resellers waiting from 5am in the morning another one that drove the whole night from Richards Bay to get in for the opening as everyone wants a good deal and this is what we giving-good value so that people can make a decent profit.

with this in mind we have already put into place a few changes , such as 2x Cashier for 10 or less items , this year we got all the sales people involved to help clients with queries and advice on the floor , we got extra people to help at the cashiers points to help scan stock , and extra helpers to pack stuff in the car

and also lots of entertainment for the kids so that they don’t get tired or restless , We doing everything humanly possible to make sure that there is a smooth flow and have work on the assumption that there will again be 1000 people this year , but if we get 1500 people then , we will have to go back to the drawing board for next year .

So does this imply that we can simply walk into the Xpress shop and make our purchases, without placing orders upfront?
