Esquire needs your help to achieve target

Hi All

We almost at Month End and so near reaching our target of R xx million and only need R 1,2 million for the next three days to reach this target so we going all out with these crazy prices to try and reach it.

Some of these special were actually for our Spring Day Specials and brought forward for this weekend so take this opportunity to grab a bargain .

You register on shop.esquire.co.za to find prices, or PM Esquire.Then you walk into the store and buy using the MYB001 user. Easy!

Pathetic marketing attempt! Do you seriously think anyone is that loyal to Esquire that they will buy something just to help you reach your target. If Esquire is offering good prices, sure put it out there so people are aware of the specials but this angle is just beyond lame.

Those prices are great. Please direct me to your website so I can see if your prices even come close. If not, then shut up.

Or if you are just sour for some other reason then please find me a 1Tb drive online for cheaper? Thanks.

Hmmm... I thought Esquire's post had a hint of "tongue-in-cheek", which I thought was amusing. Combining this with brilliant prices is an good formula. If I hadn't blown my budget yesterday, I'd be shopping for HDD's this afternoon!

I've got to force myself to stay away and not blow my budget! :mad:
Got a roadtrip planned that requires dosh, but also so badly need storage, but the road takes preference on this round :o

No dude, not a competitor. Don't get me wrong, their specials are good and I like the fact that they take the effort to tell myBB about it. You mentioned their great prices but nothing about a dire urge to help them reach their sales target - which is sort of the point I'm trying to make. I'm not against them advertising on myBB, it is just the manner in which they think we are loyal idiots in love with their company that makes me a little nauseous.

/Enough venting about lame marketing, time for coffee :)
 
DAMNIT i want to go but I'm too far. I can buy tax free too from our company...SIGHZORS

If they offered me a ridiculously cheap hard drive because they wanted new false teeth for their granny then who gives a damn for the reason behind the special. The could just as easily have said that they were only offering the specials for two days (which they have) and not mentioned the targets. If I was interested in the price I would buy the goods. The fact that they are being upfront with the reasons therefore is a positive in my eyes. I am all for transparency! And hey, who knows, if we help them achieve their target who says we won't all benefit from even more celebratory specials!

Yeah well said...WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT THE ADD. Hmmm im not gonna buy a really really really low priced harddrive cause the add wasnt catchy...idiot.

Just let you know as at 2:14 pm our sales is R 763 075.00

we done 174 invoices since this morning in Midrand alone
still have.nt check with branches as yet
