Hello All

Firstly we would like to Thank You, our valued clients on the suggestion of creating our new E-Catalogue , you will glad to know that we have just implemented a “ New Way” on how you would receive our daily specials, please click on the link: http://www.esquire.co.za/specials/Esquire_Special.html

We will also eventually be doing away with emailing you our daily specials, instead we will be sending you a daily reminder in text format and the link to the new E-Catalogue.

The E-Catalogue will be updated daily, with the latest products and gadgets specials we have on offer, as well as our weekly "ESQUIRER" Newsletter and Product Information, The E-Catalogue can also be found on our website under the Specials Tab

Please Note that todays E-Catalogue (Specials) is on a trial basis and some more work still needs to done over the next few days to enhance the aesthetics of the pages, so refresh the page as often as you like to see the updates.

Cape Town clients look at the Bargain Page as there is some really crazy specials to clear out those one and two’s of an item that we have in that branch-some more items will be added over the next few days .

We look forward to your comments and suggestions to info@esquire.co.za or drop me a PM

Regards
ESQ

When is Cape Towns stock coming in? I have a few of last weeks specials that I still need to collect. As of yesterday ETA was unknown.

I know for a fact that Cape Town got their stocks on Monday -did you place your back order with them , also let me know which items you are referring to that there is no ETA

Only item I know that we still waiting for, from the vendor is the Telefunken GPS those we have a backorder of 500 units and they promised us delivery on Friday (tomorrow)

I am unsure about whether or not this is correct, but I just saw on your catalogue that you have an XBox 360 for R289 and a Wii for R389 excl vat. I really hope this is the correct price, but I doubt it :p

Oh and a question, I recently purchased 2 Kingston RAM dimms from you, but the were both opened. The salesman told me and I quote:
"Morning
The ram is open cos we have to put the barcode on them".

Is this truly the case?

Well, there is a warranty void if removed barcode sticker on it (it seems like my warranty will be void soon as it wants to fall off by itself without any interference). I just don't understand why they would have to open it to stick a barcode on it. And the RAM also wasn't what was specified on the website, it is 1.65v and the product description on the website (and on the specials emailed to me) stated it as being 1.5v.

If that consoles is really that cheap, I'll take 1 of each.....R289.00 for a Xbox.......R389.00 for a Wii......R329.00 for a Playstation 2......

Getting use to Esquires BS so no biggie. They probably going to nail use with admin charges when we want to pay. Also I see no indication on their catalogue if these prices are VAT inclusive or exclusive. Hopefully 2013 will be a better year for them.

I like it.. but where are the "Order online" Buttons?

I got the 2 micro servers I ordered on Friday today. Stunning service. I will be using the online option much more now!

The problem I have with the online order is the special prices do not always reflect online, so I'd rather just go the safe route and ask one of the salesmen to send me a quote. And in regards to the opened RAM, I do not mind it as much, I can't see any damage to it and it smells new (if that makes any sense:wtf:), I just wanted to make sure there will be no problems with it. As stated, I also do not understand why it is necessary to do so, there are other barcodes (on the RAM itself as well as the packaging. Also, as stated in the linked thread, I believe resealing it would be more professional.

The salesman is correct we do open each memory module to place a serial number barcode on each of them, the reason for this is that, there is three Kingston Distributors in South Africa (which we are one of them) , and for clients not to get confused on where they purchased we put a serial number to track the item , The barcode you see on the packaging is a product barcode and batch number not a serial number

Regarding the pricing on the Consoles on the E-Catalogue, I am still busy updating it :D
The correct pricing will be updated soon or if you got our email specials the pricing is on there
