I know i used to get credits often which was awesome because sometimes a faulty object can cost more money and if they have no stock you can use that credit for something better. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
This has happened to me before (Getting the original purchase price of an XFX 8800GTS 320MB and being able to buy a 8800GT 512MB which was way better)
Esquire, I'm one of your more avid supporters, but your warranty terms are truely ridiculous.
Customer service goes further than the point where their money goes into your bank account.
You screwed me over on a CAR mp3 player's warranty as well, I didn't have the original invoice as it was thrown away when my car was washed the next day.
I'm the account holder, you have me on your system. Forcing me to have my original printed invoice is pathetic, if you REALLY want to do business that way, rather email account holders the invoice as well.
Seems like you're covering your tracks quite well so as to provide as little as possible after-sales-service.
As stated above: If a client comes back to one of your resellers with a faulty product, without the client having packaging, then the reseller would have to take the hit under the CPA?
That is in my opinion plain illegal action against your resellers.
