So i try to log in yesterday to see some prices on new products they are advertising and I see I have been removed from their database. No record found.

I have never had my account dissappear from any other online retailer(or supplier for that matter) so what exactly happened here?

So they are still up to their dubious tricks, what a bummer. Sad individuals.

They delete accounts of people who say anything even remotely negative about them. Maybe they weren't sure if you said anything or not and decided to just delete it anyway to be safe. I ignore all reccommendations re. esquire and would rather spend more money elsewhere. I don't have an esquire account - so no need to go looking for it @ esquire rep .

Did you comment in that QQ thread grantza made?

NO! But he did post this!

Yes very unusual indeed. What is the point of a 2 year warranty if they charge a fair usage fee if their item breaks before that.

I would not put it beyond Esquire to delete his Esquire account on account of this comment and if so it shows you how mad these Esquire individuals really are!

Do they realize this is a discussion forum - where people voice their opinions? And that voicing a bad opinion doesn't mean we hate something? I've complained about other companies, but I still use them because the complaints are few and far between. It boggles the brain every time I see this. Yep - just got boggled again.

Happened to a couple of mybb members already.

In my case the head honcho himself deleted my account (when I requested to be removed from their *advertising list*). Plus they don't actually tell you its been removed...they sorta spring that surprise on you when you're standing at the cashier trying to pay for an armful of gear and they refuse to take your money. I'm inclined to tell them exactly where to put their gear but I don't think me elaborating is necessary.

If that comment was the one that "did me in" then that's frankly ridiculous. Will wait and see what the rep has to say.

@Havok : I have never understood how the mailing list and the accounts cannot be managed separately.

Unfortunately that's how they rumble.

You will hear nothing from that idiots! The mail issue is just an excuse so they can delete anyone complaining about to much mail.

Gladly I am rid of them critters and will NEVER support them again. Just advised a client to rather buy a R7k inclusive I5 notebook from game cheaper than any of the Esquire offers.

By "they" you mean that almost always sarcastic arab dude who likes to make homoseksual remarks?

There's probably quite a few umbrellas that 'they' fall under, none of which cast them in a good light.

Let me try this. I registered my account with these *******s before I changed my nick. Lets see if they put one and one together to find out what I'm registered as on their db :D

Deleting potential customers from your database because of (mostly) constructive criticism...now that's heavy

True that. With the egos running around at Esquire it's a wonder that gravity doesn't weigh their big heads down. Nomsayin'?
