On your question about Malema. Murder is murder If someone killed the SOB we would have more problems so yeah.

I think the people that is should look at themselves are the people who screamed when Bees Roux was not send to jail. And all the bad things they said about him. The same people defending these people now.

Murder out of self defence is not the same as killing someone because you do not agree with him about your salary.

If this was to protect themselves. Its a diffrent story.

ET was a racist thug and his karma caught up with him but at least he had the balls to do his own dirty work.

Malema is in the same category as the clergy and others who were ranting about cockroaches in the run-up to the Rwanda genocide.
None of them physically had blood on their hands but they were directly responsible for the murder of nearly a million people.

Not at all. What you are referring to for me is in the past. They were a few mamparras that couldn't move with the times. That however is behind us. What Malema's doing is a threat to current day SA. He is a much bigger threat than ET ever was with a much larger support base as well.

Yes it could.

If you where the victim of continued and prolonged abuse and you managed to knock your attacker out then it can be argued that you continued the attack due to fear of your attacker getting up. But this will only work if you can back up continued abuse with proof. Which in this case I highly doubt.

It's not actually about ET and who he was.. ET is just a metaphor for white people in this scenario. If they are not made an example out of, then basically what the court is saying, is that it's not so bad to kill white people, aslong as they are racist, but of course we are all called racist, all the time.

Ironically black people have been complaining that the murder or killing of their kind by white people goes unpunished. The lion dude, the rugby guys who dragged someone behinf their bakkie, the baboon farmer who shot a kid, and I'm sure there's a string of other farmer killings that people have felt weren't punished.

Yeah I always believed that if you want to blame somebody for Malema, blame the media. In his earlier years he was always lecturing these "crowds" of like 50-100 people, until he started getting media coverage. Controversy sells, and they know it too well.

This is not about whether we enjoy that anybody got killed.
It's whether that person was killed in self defense(as the accused proclaim) or not.
ATM the effidence indicates it was an cold blooded murder.
As more evidence comes forward this could maybe change...
 
It is very possible that the first blow could have knocked him out and he fell on the bed, at which point the attacker continued the attack.

He was standing up, received a debilitating blow to the head then passed out length-wise on the bed ...

Whatever, self-defence would only count for the first blow, not the subsequent carnage.

Huh? Are you VJB's phantom or just adding your 2c?

Either way a couple people on here are quite quick off the bat to dismiss these guys as murderers and ET as nothing more than a sweet, old farmer who wouldn't hurt a fly when the both the defense and prosecution is as flaky as dandruff.

No, there is no justificiation for the horrendous injury inflicted. They should have rather just gone to the CCMA if they were unhappy with their employer.
