So if you trigger it from the board, it opens/closes normally? But if you press your remote button, it doesn't respond?

If so then it sounds like it's an issue with the receiver module.

Do you see the Rx LED flickering when you press the remote button? Same LED that should have flashed when programming.

The beeps on first activation after powering up is normal. Not normal that the RX LED does not flicker when programming. See the video above.

If you can't get it to hear your remotes (with fresh batteries obviously) something could be wrong with your RX module - the vertical daughterboard here.



You can get an external ET/Nice receiver as mentioned above but before you go there, maybe unscrew the whole board and brush all those ants off and check front and back for any obvious issues e.g. stuff bridging and shorting pins, or burned traces.

Thanks guys. I went out again to try programming the remotes, and lo and behold, I noticed the RX LED flickering, and it worked today. I'm suspecting the ants caused the intermittent issue... Will give it a good clean!
