I have submitted an email to [email protected] requesting 3rd degree look into the current state of affairs. If anyone has any direct contacts there please submit them here too so we all can send requests. Carte Blance is one thing, but the rest of non-subscription TV needs to be informed too.

I prefer 3rd degree, actually. Straight down the line, no frills, no fuss.

Or was that car hire? :D

Why dont we ask Carte Blanche to do a follow up ? They also are very good and dont take much nonsence !!

The very thought of Steve White or Poison Ivy being grilled by Deborah Patter makes me happy

Well just on a side note, isn't Carte Blanche in "closed time" on MNet? Getting it on 3rd Degree will at least reach alot more people, the people that probably needs to be informed about Telkom/ADSL/ICASA etc doesn't have MNet....

I wonder how much influence Carte Blanche actually have in terms of reaching the "general" public? [likewise for 3rd Degree and Special Assignment..]

Not everyone has mnet.
Cmon 300rand for one channel get outta here.
I use sky and you get 400 channels for that price.
I like ETV free and worth it!.

What about The Big Question ? on SABC 2 A lot of people watch it and it's on Prime Time and it's about an hour long, although I highly doubt telkom would want to debate ... and offcourse if also SABC would be intersted is another issue! But it's very popular!

please elaborate... :-)

I would rather see 3rd degree do the show/interview ... seen debra pather in action and she can be really blunk and to the point. She had some guy from the zim government on the other day and she called him on everything and the guy was stumped and couldn't/didn't have time to think of new lies :) ... she is definitely the person to take on telskum/steve white in an interview :)

Sky: A satelite broadcasting company in the UK, owned by Fox Networks where they have 900 sattelite channels. :) oh i miss Sky One.... :(
