I see we all have to create battle.net accounts... hooray. We have until sometime in Nov to get it done by, and we get a free useless pet. Hooray again.

I tried to sign up now to get it out of the way.... but the site just seems to hang. Anyone else having problems?

Just some quick advice to help you out.

Do a google search for the eu.battle.net or go to eu forums there is an item under tech support that tells you to add battle.net to your firewall exceptions do this as it fixes a lot of connection problems worked for me 1 shot.

My only concern on this is that now you have to use an email address to login whereas you used to have your own unique user name. For a person who is not so internet aware and gets one of those fake blizzard phishing emails to their same email address they may respond to it.

I think my battle.net account was compromised when my wow account was a while back. I made a battle.net account and added warcraft 3, diablo etc but not my wow account. Then my wow account got compromised and some how I think I had the same password for both.

When I try to go to forgot password it says email and name combination don't match. Can you change your name in your battle.net settings?
