EU sees digital library by 2010

Wonder when the SA government will start putting our history online? When will we see the archived materials of the SABC released to the public? The stuff is just sitting there, some of it totally inaccessible. There must be thousands of photos and interesting declassified documents of the old Apartheid era that would make for some interesting reading in government department basements all over the country...

Where are the people who should drive these things in government? Why is it that all the creative minds sit in the private sector? Surely there must be one or two creative minds in government... ;)
 
I can think of a reason why they might not do it antowan... so they (ANC government) can lie about apartheid things in 10 years for propaganda purposes and no one will be able to call them on it...
