I've narrowed it down to these two for hosted pbx with 5 extentions.

Anybody that used both previously care to comment on pros and cons of using these two companies?

Switchtel is cheaper in both fixed monthly cost and callrates. Is Euphoria's quality/reliability so much better?

I can't compare since I've only used Switchtel.
Having said that -

Their support has been responsive/excellent. They're quick to implement changes when requested.
Haven't noticed any downtime on their side in my 3 years with them, so 100% reliable as far as I'm concerned.

Hope that helps.

Been using Switchtel for a few months now and have no complaints. Like you I also narrowed it down to Euphoria / Switchtel. I chose Switchtel because while Euphoria had more features they were not ones I needed right now and they didn't (at the time) offer a cheaper package that didn't include these features.

I've been using Switchtel for a few months, I chose them because their pre-sales support was EXCELLENT - no regrets at all.

Decided to go with Switchtel, mainly due to the difference in call rates (we are relatively heavy users).

I see their hosted pbx server is in Jburg. Is this a problem if our office is located in Cape Town. Does this mean all our calls (even to Cape Town) will route via Jburg, or does these calls take a "shortcut"?
