Almost time for the Euro's and excited to see some quality football again

England are favourites but lost to Iceland last night and have a poor record as of late, money probably on France or Germany.

France and England favorites but if I were to put money on it I fancy Germany at home.

England on paper has the most aggressive attacking talents but the Left side seems very light with Luke Shaw being out injured almost the entire season I think they going to struggle if opposition attacks them on the right (left defence)

Defenders: Lewis Dunk (Brighton & Hove Albion), Joe Gomez (Liverpool), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United), Kyle Walker (Manchester City);

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace);

Forward:
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham United), Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Phil Foden (Manchester City), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Ivan Toney (Brentford), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa).

With Southgate's favored 4-2-3-1 will be interesting who he plays on the left

Think Stones also got a knock last night, their defence will cost them the tournament if they go far, think they have France in semis gona be chaos.

England 1 - 0 Netherlands semi-final 1 Germany 2-1 France semi-final 2
England 0 - 1 Germany Final

Germany v Scotland

Can be watched on ITVX tomorrow. Think England is going to have a few more citizens each time there is a Euro Game, as you can use the iPlayer and ITVX to watch it for free "legally"

In the U.K. football fans can enjoy every moment of Euro 2024 across BBC and ITV. As is traditional, the tournament will be split across both channels with the final airing on both. And you can opt to watch online as well via BBC iPlayer or ITVX (formerly ITV Hub). Just note that you will need a valid TV license in order to watch.

Other countries with free-to-air coverage of the Euro 2024 include Germany (via ZDF and ARD), France (via TF1), Spain (via RTVE) and Italy (via RAI). Soccer fans in New Zealand can also watch Euro 2024 for free via TVNZ.

Great start from Germany and Spain. Ok start from Italy after a horror start to the game.

Southgate has so much talent at his disposal but he’s an unimaginative poephol so England will crash as usual.

Spain looked really good last night. Morata looks like a different player in the national side.

We'll see how screwed England is tonight, doubt it'll be a pretty game to watch. Maybe 1-0 for england

I often wonder how much of England's "star talent" has simply been due to the power of the British to media to build them up. They've got good players, but not really anyone who would make a world team.

Two thirds of their star talent was foreign in 2022. Not sure about this year.

Any one of Kane, Saka, Bellingham has a great shout
In which positions?

Kane could get close, but I'd rather have Messi, Haaland or Mbappe as striker.

Assuming Saka as RW, Messi, Mo, Sane or even Rodrygo are above him.

Bellingham is good, but probably 10 midfielders above him.
