Euros 2024

I hate to say this, but England played the best football of their whole tournament last night.

After we scored in the 1st half, we lost the plot completely in the midfield for some weird reason. We only had 34% possession during that 1st half.

For some reason we decided to play English football with the hope and pray long ball forward while England actually passed and controlled the ball.

The BS penalty was what broke the camel's back, but we never looked like winning that game.

I desperately searched for Dutch commentary as well but over 11 channels I couldn't find any...listening to the English commentators was worse than water torture.

I guess I'll be shouting VAMOS !! on Sunday...and watching the game on a Spanish channel.
 
Daughter fell asleep during the game in her full supporters garb. Was worried how I was going to break Netherlands loss to her this morning.

Broke the news carefully, her response it’s fine Dad we can support England in the finals. Where did I go wrong as a parent. FML.

Indeed, the football terrorist has made another final.

I hope they go all the way, but this is surely Spain's to lose? About the only major team in the entire tournament that has been playing to its potential.
