OK, so our company delivery van was in an accident and was then "written off", by the insurance company (they paid us out almost the full value less excess).
We settled for R58,000 pay out. The car was returned to us (was not scrapped - we still have the papers).
So we took the salvaged vehicle and had it repaired for about R23,000. Now it is ready for use again.

Now we want to get it back onto the Insurance Policy, but Santam are asking for.....

1) An Evaluation certificate in respect of the value of the vehicle.
2) An AA Technical report.

Where can I get that done? (We are in Joburg).

Thanks.

I'd hazard the former would simply entail an evaluation from any RMI-recognised dealer - pop in at a franchise of whatever brand your van is and ask them for a valuation for insurance purposes.

The latter you'll be able to have done at any AA or DEKRA testing centre. Just be sure to ask for a technical evaluation.
