Hey all

I have a laptop and am thinking of playing EVE. All the specs seem fine, except for the video card since I don't know what the bloody hell it is, can any one please help me out on this. What I get from the system is that it is a sis 661FX Rev 01 (64mb).

Cheers all

Yea am thinking of doing that but don't want to blow my cap on something that does not work. I have mailed the ppl at SiS to ask if they know.

Bugger, the support mail adr is out of date. They now ref you back to the laptop guys. So I will send my question to Acer.

I tried it briefly a few months ago, and the game didnt strike me as something very graphic intensive. I do however doubt if a 64mb gfx chip will run it.

Edit: The SiS graphics chipset is a chipset you normally get on a budget pc that will only be used for purposes other than games.

I played EvE Online for just under a month... Some days, however, I did run it on a 64mb Mobility Radeon 9600 on my LapTop... worked like a charm.

I must warn you though that this game sucked ass in my opinion... Its great for the first few days and then it just gets mad boring =S Also blew about 1gb of capp on it, not worth it

I played it on a relatively crappy laptop and it ran fine.

contact Vile rat in game if you have any questions.
