Do you think you'll ever get to an age where you won't be playing games anymore? Do you get something like "too old to be playing games"?

I bought a MS Steering wheel for my XBox the other day. Since then, I can't stop playing GRID. Then I started wondering, since I'll be doing the big 3 O thing next year, whether I'm not getting too old for this? Shouldn't I be spending my time on more "grownup" things?

Shouldn't I be saving my cash for having children, drinking 50 year old cognac and smoking Cuban cigars while talking about the return on investment for my mining stock I bought with the money I would have spent on my gaming addiction?

if there are any 90 year old, cigar smokin, cognac drinking gamers with 15 children out there, make me proud!!

I've already hit the big 3 O, with no signs of stopping....ever.
My wife's not crazy about it, but my son is sure to follow in his old man's footsteps. Way i see it, if you like doing it, why stop? To me it's a hobby - someone else enjoys playing golf, or collecting miniature airplanes etc, and i like playing games. ;)

There's no age to gaming. Look at Nintendo for example as some of their new games are actually targeting moms, dads and even old grandma.

It's like a 40 year old man asking himself if he's too old to go check the new Transformers movie.

Ever too old to be playing games?

NO !!!! And I'm half the age of the gamer you are looking for!

And I stick kick my kids and their buddies' ar5e on FPS games...

Driving is a grownup activity...

Hah! Thats just blasphemy! You'll never be too old to play games. Even the thought males me wanna puke.

I know gamers well into their, well, almost double the big 3 O, and no sign of stopping. I see no reason to stop, as some have said.

Been past 3 0 for a few years now and I still enjoy gaming (2 xbox's). In fact, this year I instated a "games night", on wednesday nights my wife must go watch pasella in the bedroom and take care of the kid so that I can game. I also bought a PSP for myself last week.

I'm 32 and I don't feel like stopping.

Sure, other important things takes up more of my time. But I will always spare a little time to play some games.

Funny i ask myself the same question all the time[im 27]
I think if you grew up with gaming it will always be apart of you.
I went through a 3 year phase of not playing games and now im terribly hooked on my 360.
Some read books, we play games.
Tell you one thing though, if ever world war 3 arrived,i have already been trained![Call of duty series]

Well There used to be a 70 year old toppie Lanning with us at Liberty Lan (The first Year) and he had an unreal tournament T-Shirt and everything.

Like someone said - some people like building model planes, others like to work on their garden :D and some like games

I don't know about games, but i'll definitly be a technology freak for many many years - not like the old people of today who can't even play a DVD or send an SMS.

PC4Life! :D

Its always good to think for the future and leave behind a great legacy, but will you be enjoying doing all the "grown up" things, I think you could incorparate all like smoke a cigar while playing GRID, I knw thats what I would do..

Only things that changed for me over the years are, switched exclusively to console and I have a bottle of wine next to me more often than a six-pack (and I have to pause sometimes to change a diaper)
