Evetech - Dual i7 3930K Workstation

Where do you see 2x i7 3930K?

It is a 6-core CPU with hyperthreading, meaning that it has 12 CPU threads.

The only misinformation on that CPU on that page is that they say it has 12 cores, when it technically only has 6 cores.

Update:
You'll be MUCH MUCH better off selecting your own components than to get that for a workstation!
1) you don't need such an expensive motherboard, case, PSU or RAM
2) rather get an AMD graphics card for CAD
3) get a SSD if you're working with lots of small files

I know this is off topic a bit, but are Evetech trust worthy?anyone bought from them before?

True, but some people don't know how. They assemble it and run it through a bombardment of tests to make sure everything's fine. They also give you free labour on parts, etc etc.... but this is only useful if you don't have the time/ability to do it yourself.
 
Evetech built my SO's PC.

I had to open up the box and reseat the RAM (to be fair it might have come loose during shipping and delivery).
The OC they put on the machine was anything but stable, however after some tweaking on my behalf we got a better OC that is stable.
Cable managment and general build otherwise was superb.

So yeah, bit of a mixed bag from my perspective. Overall if you have time and skill its better to do it yourself.

I won't pay someone to OC my RIG. The problem with the OC is that as soon as you hit (I think it's 4.2GHz) you're already out of warranty. Then I'd rather make sure I'm happy with how it's been OC'ed and that it's stable. On that note, Asus OC ftw.

I had never assembled or even bought an individual component before assembling my sig rig last year... its like lego.
