Someone that used to work for our company set up a quotation system using excel and macros. I need to sort out my documents but haven't a clue where to start or end. I'm BC :confused: Is there any one in the Roodepoort area who is really jacked up on excel & macros who can do this for me.Please pm me.

Why are people still using Excel for accounting and bookkeeping. Toomuch manual intervention needed. There are numerous free and cheap solutions that actually improve productivity. Try sage one online.

Can't explain but this comes up quite often....Run-time Error '1004', Method 'range' of object, Global Failed' End or Debug

Would like to send you a screen shot but it will not let me.The quote comprises 26 pages in total.

Did you come right with this issue? I have a fair bit of knowledge and experiance with excel and macros so might be able to assist you in finding the problem
 
Why are people still using Excel for accounting and bookkeeping.

I have been approached by someone that I know, who I regard as an excel master, to rewrite/port their existing excel quotation/management system. The system is quite extensive by now but started off as a small sheet to simply fill a gap that no other software packages could fill.
