Hi

I found out the other day that I have been earning point every time that I recharge my prepaid account. That is cool! As far as I read the site I can only swop the points for voice discounts or free sms messages. My problem is that I use my prepaid SIM in my data modem and so I am not interested in sending messages or phoning anyone. Is there any chance that they could add data bundles to the list of rewards that I can have? That would be sweet!

V3G, will us as PPDB Subscribers possibly see something like this in future?

Some of my points already expired because I can't "buy" something I actually need!!!

Things I need:
1. Data bundles
2. Cellphone accessories like data cables, chargers etc.

I don't wana loose more points so please help us by adding some useful options!

Exactly, we as PPDB Subscribers don't really benefit from Talking Points when it comes to Data.

And by the time we want to use our points for anything, it has expired.

I think it is only fair cause we are dropping thousands of Rands (probably more than a lot of the voice/SMS users out there) so it would be cool if we could get some data back as a thank you...

Brilliant suggestion!!

Yes, it's just another stupid rule Vodacom has for PPDB users OR it may be something Vodacom has overlooked entirely altogether. My hope is the latter. But meanwhile I'd like to mention that points for data or accessories as mentioned by others is something I'd like to see as it motivates PPDB users to stay loyal and not itching to jump to the competitor when a better carrot is offered.

the problem is that fatcats think about more money first, before they think of the long run implications.

2 options easily come to mind here:

No Free Data - in the short run they don't waste money, so they get to keep more of it.
Give free Data - in the long run, more people from other networks will join vodacom, and they will benifit greatly.

but as I said - when the words "it's gonna cost us now, but..." is said, the conversation stops there and NO will be the answer.
