Hi there,
I want to know that i a person has gone through Heart Surgery then what are the exercises that should be put into a routine to recover and maintain a good circulation of blood throughout the body. Also what should be the diet for the person who have gone through this surgery.

Thanks
Jason Scott

Well for one, keep of food that skyrockets your cholesterol and just remember - everything in moderation. As for exercise - try walking everyday. Not only will it relieve you of some stress, but it overall helps maintain good fitness.

He is asking us... we know everything (between all of us)
We are like a AWESOME version of Google...

1. Keeping fit (not killing yourself)
2. Eating healthy
3. Going for checkups now and again
4. Enjoying your life!

Read the ranulph fiennes autobiography, he ran 7 marathons, 7 continents in 7 days 4 months after a double bypass...
enough to give anyone off their ass....

Walking is the best.

Because you can manage it very carefully. With running, adrenaline and endorphins mask over-exertion too much but not with walking.

My dad was on a gym thing at sport science institute here in cape town, they have a special program for people who had heart surgery. Best you check with a specialist? all i know is he said it was easy stuff, mostly cardio and some light weight routines.. but yah. Check with a specialist 1st
