Existing customer - line installation question

Hi all

Trust this finds everyone well.

I have received previous positive feedback from Afrinatic regarding line problems I've had previously, however I am buying a house that belonged to old people and they didnt have fibre installed previously.

I can see the grey fibre box up against the garage wall, but my problem relates to getting it installed and routed into the house. I dont have a set moving date yet, however is it at all possible that I am able to arrange that I get the installers to the new house to install the lines etc so that I can move straight in and be connected? Or is this just a pipe dream?

Hello. The maximum installation lead time is up to 2 weeks depending on the FNO. You can place the order and ensure that you will be at the new house for access when the technicians have to install.

Is it then possible for me to have the installation done before a move in so that I can just activate the line when I do move in?

I really dont want to be without internet when we do move in but I would understand if I had to.

Yes you can have the installation done as long as you have access before your move in date.

I really hope I dont get a surprise when I put the request for fibre in lol. Just a dumb question, but how will I be able to see if it is a fibre connection box? Taking a shot in the dark here...

Reviving an old thread here.. We are at the point here where I need to pay to have my fibre line with Afrihost installed at our new house and I have a question please.

Will I get a new router when I pay the R997 for installation? reason I ask, is that I would like to get a new one with my installation but not sure if that's an option?
