Existing e-tolls will not be scrapped

So if they are not going to scrap e-tolls but are looking at alternatives to raise more cash flow, does that mean more taxes on top of the e-tolls, one wonders?

What do u think? They arent getting it from etolls so im seeing the fuel levy ALSO being used soon.

Think about it, with etoll people have the option not to pay. With an increased fuel levy you don't have a choice but to pay if you still want to drive a car. This would be government's best move in my opinion. Not only will they guarantee their income, but also quicker recoup the funds used to finance SANRAL.
The pensioners will sleep better knowing Piet Public are rescuing the national pension fund
