So i am moving month end and i have decided to moe my line to the new address but telkom tells me that the infrasctructure does not support broadband.

What other options are there if i was ADSL. I am not looking forwards to going back to monochoice for entertainment.

Will i be able to getsomeone to install a cable from th nearest telkom line to my place. I dont mind paying for this. If so how much will i have to spend ?

I have a similar issue according to Telkom in Irene, they can only give me 2Meg line, I want 10Meg!

I am moving to Monavoni. The funny thing is theres a elkom box 200M from the house and the consultant tells me i can install a line to the house. Even if i pay them to come do the insallation. I will join the WUG but i wont be able to ge my Ps3 games or game online from now on, unless i get 3g. The worst thing is MTN is trrible that side.

level 7 does cover monavoni so read through the link I posted earlier and I am sure there are other WISPS you can use for gaming.
3g has only disapointed me.

Unfortunately you're screwed. Don't move to areas which don't support dsl if you rely on it.

I have decided to go with Level-7, but the instalation cost is pretty steep. 2.8K

Its quite pricey but the hardware is yours and the NanoBridge costs R1300-R1500 then you have to add the brackets, poles, LAN cable etc. They will also let you do a self install and alignment where you can save some money but that will work out at least R2000 and take half a day or so and some knowledge of this type of connection.

Shaft: Imma try my luck with Telkom the first month then take it from there. I still think i can get the line installed.
