Exostosis

Check the few pics I posted in the OP.
I saw yes. Maybe I haven't explained myself well enough (once again! :o).
Last try: Is this condition repetitive in nature? In other words can you get additional bone growth again? If so, will it be often, every 10 - 15 yrs, every 30 yrs etc.?

Let's try this again. I don't know.

hmmmm, let me give you some advice. I would seriously reconsider radiation, even if its low dose its still radiation. Doctors love playing with their new toys.

I would say go see an orthopedic surgeon, take your xrays and make an appointment or get your GP to right a referal. Find out why you cant simply grind the bone down and put a plate to stop it growing. Tell them you do not wish to do radiation. Though Im kind of speaking blindly here, if its the same level of radiation you get from an xray then there is no harm (you get more radiation standing outside in the sun). though i doubt it sice it seems it will cause a cytotoxic effect.

Ok im not editing what Ive typed so far. New plan. Find out what radiation therapy they want to do, then take it from there.

I hope you aren't one of those people who advises against vaccines, I do not think it's a case of doctors wanting to play with their new toys, there is a good chance that the doctor might not be doing the radiation, possibly a radiologist. This might be routinely done with good case studies, remember, medicine is a science although doctors have been known to make mistakes, I do think that there is a lot of smoke blowing.

Maybe a second or third opinion if he's has any doubts.

No im not against vaccines, dont worry lol. I did say I was talking in the dark.

Radiologists dont practice medicine btw, they are purely specialist diagnostic doctors. They dont treat with radiation, I think the oncologist does that. It probably is routinely done, im just stating the what ifs.

I will say that I was the one getting radiation treatment I would certainly get a few other doctors opinions.

So has no one else had this bone growing business?

This is not a common thing, ive never seen it in person. Hell we didnt even study this, it was mentioned that was about it :erm:
