Expect a 2% VAT increase

Budget Speech suspended over 2% VAT hike

National Treasury has postponed Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana's Budget Speech until an undetermined date in March, with Cabinet locked in discussions about proposed tax increases.

It had been proposed to increase the value-added tax (VAT) from 15% to 17% from 1 April 2025. National Speaker Thoko Didiza adjourned the event, saying Cabinet couldn't agree on the budget.

So you hang around with other people equally as deluded as yourself?

Yeah we know, old news pal.
The ANC rules because we collectively DON'T hold each other accountable for spreading lies and misinformation. If you spread deluded nonsense, you are delusional.

EDIT: Calling a liar a liar is not a personal attack.
Looks like you were referring to yourself. You owe OP an apology.

Shame the ANC is really struggling lately with their poor decisions.

Well, we certainly dodged multiple bullets there (or should that be bullet points?) - I was hoping to be kept VERY busy over in the 'whingers' thread for the next few days... ;)
