Expect huge things from Vodacom in 2020

They need to fix their web site- it is a mess. I have given up trying to buy airtime and moved to MTN

Are you on Vodacom's payroll?
Lol. Sure ahahahaha. If I am they certainly don't pay well lol. Nope.
I'm just a honest white guy that works hard for his money and doesn't steal. And neither does Vodacom steal from me. A win win relationship in this shithole I live in.

So you premote this greedy company for mahala, that is very noble of you.

It was great getting away from here. Transkei is so beautiful. Trennerys and Seagulls such nice places to visit. It's so clean there. Rubbish not lying everywhere like here. It was a good break for me :)

Great :)
Vodacom has always treated me well. I Iook forward to more success for them.

I wish I could say the same.

At my home I really struggle with network. Logged a coverage complaints and they called me back. Said yes they are aware of the issue with only 2 towers serving the whole area congestion is really bad with the towers at 100% utilization for most of the time.

Now on holiday at the KZN South Coast and very nice beaches and very nice around here the coverage is appalling. No coverage. I see one or two towers covering the area and the speeds is suuuuuuper slow in fact can't use my phone unless it's on wifi even for calls it's not working. My calls going to voicemail when I have the wifi on with Vowifi at least it's I can make calls but I use a Telkom simcard in a mifi to get coverage how sad is that for Vodacom claiming to be the best network in SA. Very sad.

Sped close to R1700 a month on Vodacom and I'm stuck with a network worse than Cellc which is really sad.

Official Icasa stats they are all within one or two percent of each other. So Vodacom merely the best of a bad bunch and over here the situation is similar for me. Vodacom and MTN merely have the perception of being a good network due to their age and some creative marketing.

Yeah obviously coverage will depend from location to location but it just feels like the once king of the networks aren't that good anymore or maybe it's my phone I don't know but when I used to insert a Vodacom sim into a phone it was perfection no matter where you are.

Not getting the same experience anymore. I feel with volte VoLTE it's gotten worse. The Samsung S10 likes to stick to VoLTE on 1 bar signal rather than switch to 3G.

Coverage is also an issue for me. Telkom always seem to work better not sure why thought.

I was in Kei Mouth recently. Vodacom up and down there. Voice calls good. Internet slow. I dunno.

Like Massive price increases, even more confusing contract packages, additional SMS's added to your contract bundles?

WiFi at work - check
WiFi at home - check
Smartphone bought cash - check
Prepaid SIM - check

The mobile network operators are worried that more and more subscribers' behaviour are becoming more like mine

Never been nailed for OOB. I keep a steady eye on my data and make sure I'm nowhere near my data limit.

I only use about 2GB a month.

Hello Vodacom employee.

Edit: Dammit, I really should read the second page before making my dof unoriginal joke.

But seriously, Boasting about never going OODB with "I only use 2gb a month" is like saying, "I've never been in a car accident but drive 12km a year."

Maybe I'm just lucky. But Vodacom treats me well. It's not a once off thing. It's ongoing.

How many more times you need to mention how well vodacom treats you to get your christmas holiday money back?
