Expect many more 300Gbps DDoS attacks

Well data becomes more affordable and global infrastructure gets better and better.

People should look at their IOT devices and make sure they do not have default credentials at the least.

Has nothing to do with that... The ddos guys are just harnessing more and more equipment
It has everything to do with that. Doesn't help much if your harnessed devices is a bunch of 52k dail up devices.

Was that a personal attack?

Questioning your lack of knowledge is not a personal attack.

I personally see your posts with a lack of understanding in these technical threads as a form of trolling but you're welcome to report.

Actors have a whole new device base / platform to utilize for cyber crime.

Over the past year, I've heard a lot of pitches from the local security companies on securing IoT devices in the corporate space.

Umm no it doesn't...

If I harness 20million 56k dialup modems I can do lots of damage
