Does anyone have any experience with Beam-e trackers and their service? I just got a new car and would like to install a tracker, they seem cheap and I like how they seem to run things based off their website.
So from what I have heard the Beame tracking device is an RF unit meaning that it has to be activated when you want to track it. But, because it doesn't connect to the cars electrical system this means you only have a few days of battery life once the unit is activated. Also it doesn't work off the GSM network, so as far as I am aware they can't use the jammers to block the signal of the unit.
From a recovery perspective, Beame is part of Matrix, so your odds are pretty good of retrieving your car should it get stolen.
