My neighbor took his explora, the first model to dstv office, they test it upgrade it and pair it with a PVR. He brought it home, install, the explora did a upgrade over the air and work. Then they phone dstv to switch to holiday mode, no they can see recordings but not watch it. And it said on the screen, this is a PVR. Holding on for hours on a cell phone isn't fun, he spoke 3 times to them, no joy
