My vehicle has gone in for it's last 45 000km service today. Which basically means I need to now look at getting an extended service plan or trading in my vehicle. I bought the car with 35kms on the clock in November 2016 and have already done 45 000km - I travel for business. I'm so divided on what would be the better financial decision... paying an extra R600 to R700 a month on an extended service plan or just doing a trade in where I may still pay the same as I would getting the service plan or perhaps even less. I drive a Hyundai grand i10 1.25 motion and have been thinking that I would like to look at the Mazda 2 range, simply because Mazda offers a 3 year, unlimited km service plan... that would guarantee that I am able to drive the new one for 3 years no matter how much I end up traveling... What would you guys do in my situation?
