Hi All,

I moved into a new home recently and wanted to connect the Dstv decoder. For some reason the previous owner chose to have the wires really really short.

See pic attached. IMG_20161001_094941.jpg

Now i cannot put my decoder anywhere else but right up against the wall and in a not so ideal position on the tv stand. I actually need to move the TV stand further away from that point in the wall.

Any ideas whats the best way to extend these cables.

Go to ellies and ask for two barrel connectors and two f to f leads off whatever length you want. I'm sure they'll make them up for you.

f to f leads? Female to Female?

Basically you will have to extend, with connecting cables as per the above ... Or get somebody to come in and completely move that.

I bought the Ellies branded barrel connectors from builders warehouse. Was about R27 each.

Thanks for the help guys
