Extensa 5630 if shutdown, will only boot after 40+min

I have an Acer 5630, if I shutdown the laptop, it will only start up again after +-40min and then run fine, restart fine etc.

It's only when you shutdown that you then have to wait an abnormally long time?

Is the same when you hibernate instead of shutting down?

Hibernate works fine.
Only when I shutdown, thought it might be heating issue BUT if i leave it off all night, switch on for 5min and then power off it still stays off for 40min +

I think it is driver problem. It doesn't shutdown correctly: CPU enters suspended mode before power button driver switches off power. It is why you cannot power it on again before shutdown is complete.
If my theory is correct, shutdown computer and when you think it is off, press-and-hold power button for 10 second. It will trigger hardware assisted power off. Release button, then try to power it on again. Works?

Tried a couple times before but nothing, replaced hdd, ram and battery but still a no go.

what happens if u you try to boot the notebook without the battery and maybe with a different charger???
If it is still not booting then the problem is going to be on the main board itself.
