Is there any way to display the same thing on both screens at different resolutions, in other words mirrored mode, but with different resolutions, because when I try now it changes the resolution of both to be the same.

Well in my understanding, in order to do that the computer would need to render both screens individually. The difficulty with this is that when you move the cursor on one screen, it will not be in the same location on the other screen which means that screen 2 would either have to be stretched or squashed... All of this far too much work for Micro$oft... So maybe try look for third party software to do it for you?
