We had to upgrade our 2p pvr to a eXplora 2a to be able to to do the 3 point extra view.
The explora 1 (primary decoder) was working and recording without any problems but we were unable to record on our new explora 2a. We called the dstv call Centre and was told all ok on there side but will resend the record signal to the secondary recorder. That seemed to fix the problem. But only to find the next morning our primary decoder has since stopped recording. We have called the dstv call center numerous times but the problem persist. We have done all the unplug, remove smart card, all cables etc etc but still are unable to record. Secondary Explora 2a records all ok?
Both running from same smart LNB.
I have checked and rechecked all our connections. Signal strength etc on both are the same tuner 1 100% and 96% (Both decoders) Tuner 2 on secondary only 100% 94 tuner 3 100% 86%.
