Finding extraterrestrial life will not be a problem, we already have found traces of bacteria in outer space.

The problem will be finding intelligent extraterrestrial life.

The point argued by most is that the ones we found so far could just be life seeded from this planet* and is not really proof that it originated from outside this solar system.

*Yep, we could have been 1 up'ed by simple Bacteria that is already exploring the solar system.

And I'm no scientist, hell I failed maths and science and about 5 other subjects but look what I found.

A deformed baby (possibly) ?!? made to look like a alien because this is what we have come to think aliens look like... very possible

If we were never made aware of a god and his creations, how would a discussion on aliens go? When we discuss aliens, we always have someone mentioning god.

I have seen plenty of Article re this, just a quick Google should give you a couple ie: http://www.unisci.com/stories/20013/0730011.htm

But like I said the problem with volcanic eruptions and previous meteor hits, it can easily argued that those bacteria found(Including the ones inside meteors) could have originated from earth. Its even proven via computer models that we could be seeding life on Mars and beyond. So finding life on Mars would not be a 100% proof that life originated off planet earth. Also the fact that life on earth came in many forms not only carbon based, shows that chemical composition could not be proof either.

In other words the only 100% guaranteed proof that life originated is if ET sends us an undisputed please call me or come park on planet Earth for some good old fashion game hunting.

And this coming from someone that recons there is no way in hell that planet Earth is the only place in this universe where life has started, hell I would even go so far as to say that our planet is still seen as a newborn in the scheme of things. Some planets out there had like 5-7 billion years head start.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! pleaaaase dont tell me you believe in that ****? Seeing that there is nothing scientific in that pile of crap. Esp the part where the bones dont come with labels on them dating how old they are... anyway not to get this thread end up in PD, I guess I will just ignore the rest.

The science of dating is not based on simple guessing, its has multipal systems all collaborating each other. Like Carbon dating, Layers

Actually instead of harping on about it please go read http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/earth/geology/dinosaur-bone-age.htm
