Since doing this update I can no longer get my data balance on my Cell C sim. It goes through the whole process but skips the last screen that shows the balance. I bought an identical iPad for a relative which still has an older version on it - also with a Cell C sim and the data balance feature works fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Apple would have relied on Cell C to check that iOS7 works satisfactory in their context; hence this is an issue for you to take up with Cell C.

I'd recommend upgrading to 7.04 to ensure you have the latest version, as it's most likely the 1st thing Cell C support will ask you to do anyway.

Has a solution for this been found? Have the same issue on my iPad running 7.04 and can't get my Cell C data balance. The discontinuation of the online portal has made this even more frustrating.

It was different data encoding on the last page, MDMA brought back hex raw values, but Huawei Mobile Partner had no problems at all. Today something is changed, MDMA works properly. Perhaps wait next few days, it will be updated in your area, probably quicker than iOS fix come out.

No, can't use USSD on the iPad. There are menu options in Settings> Cellular Data> Sim Application> P&S> CellC Services> My Balance.

It used to return the balance there but since ios7, it hasn't.

Cell C has also disabled their MyTools online service.

I checked SIM Application on my phone, it works. I guess it is the same story as USSD, as SIM application use the same mechanism. Not entirely Cell C problem, but because MyTools is stopped, I suggest to PM Cell_C rep on this forum and see what solution they are working on.

Guess they still working on it huh? Oh well, it's only been about half a year now.

As an aside, when I went to see Cell C support, the man shot out this arm and pointed me to the Apple store. The Apple man in turn shot out his arm and pointed me back to the Cell C store. Imagine having these two guys standing an arms length apart. The Cell C guy with his left arm outstretched, finger in the Apple guys left nostril and the Apple guy with his left arm outstretched finger in the Apple guys left nostril. Wouldn't that be fun? Then someone could post it on YouTube and we could all have a nice laugh.
