How does a customer of Afrihost go about getting the service one would expect from an ISP?

Is it the norm these days to battle for a month to have a fibre issue resolved?

Can someone from Afrihost please help me, as opposed to “We have logged your query with Octotel, and will get back to you”

Sorry to say this, and I'm sure the Cool Ideas crowd will be here soon to tell me how wrong I am, but what you are experiencing is the norm.

Not to try and be funny about this, but this is not the only source of support that Afrihost clients can make use of. In fact, post on some of the other ISP threads, and see how long their support takes to reply, if at all.
