Extremely high ping concern

So I’m currently with mweb on a 50/50 line and recently I’ve noticed speeds feeling slowish during the day or night so I decided to run a test using their app and I’m noticing very high ping every time I’ve tested and speeds varying considerably too during the day, using ooklas speed test I’ve also noticed higher ping times but not nearly as high as this, as reason as why this is happening and should I contact the isp to sort it out ?

Best and most accurate way to test it using a ethernet cable. Plug directly into your router and do the test. Try resetting your router and the ont. and see if that works.

As mentioned, plug in with a cable and then run an MTR somewhere to see where the latency is coming from.
