Eye Strain

I'm trying these out. They seem to help a bit but I didn't use it long enough to give you a proper review.
Do these have any magnification? I tried something similar out at Dischem but they were 2x magnification and made me feel squint.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Coincidentally I was separated from my phone for a week and my eyes felt a lot better, especially in the corners but they still burned. So I enabled Flux on my laptop and that was another major improvement... which tells me that Gunnars are probably a good idea. Can't find them in stock locally, though.

As for an eye test - I can still read tiny text from quite a distance so I think that means my vision is fine? I'll go see a doc sometime about the dryness if it persists.
Over the counter eyedrops for dry eyes, usually called artificial tears, are available at pharmacies. Avoid the eyedrops for red eyes!. There are many different eyedrops for dry eyes. Which brands suit you, you will find by trying different ones. Examples of ones I get from Dischem: Aspen's murine moisture eyes. Bausch & Lomb's Artelac Moisture eye drops. Novartis's Spersatear artificial tear dry eye relief. To repeat the point: Dry eyes can be the result of eye strain, but also other physical conditions, eg iron deficiency, thyroid excess or deficiency, and these may not affect your visual acuity.

Dry eyes can also be a symptom of certain autoimmune conditions. If all other possible causes are eliminated, it would be worth having a blood test which can detect the presence of auto nuclear antibodies.

Thanks I'll give those a try, and your warning on physical conditions has been noted.

I didn't know this... I have other symptoms too, will have it checked out. Thank you. Why doesn't my doctor tell me these things, time for a change.

Slightly magnified with a bit of a tint. I'm still not wearing them regularly enough to give you a good review.
